Basic facts about both
books
ORDER the Books
Together the books present the entire
process, step-by-step, of how clothing is
drafted, cut, and sewn in high-end designing
departments.
Supplies Needed
Minimal drafting and sewing equipment is
needed. A treadle sewing machine
could be used to do all the sewing in the
books. Written to meet the personal,
business, and career needs of Professor
Hoffmann's students, many of her students
work in the industry's designing departments
or have micro-businesses. The books were
also written to enable anyone who would like
to produce professional clothing to be able
to do so with minimal equipment, expense,
and time. The books give the information
needed to sew slower, finish
faster, confident that the finished
garment will both fit and look good. |
